What is smart home automation?
It connects the systems in a home, such as lighting, shades, music, TVs, climate, cameras and locks, so they work together and can be controlled from one place. One button can set the lights, lower the shades and start the music.
Which smart home system does ITS install?
ITS is a Control4 Diamond Dealer and designs most smart homes on Control4, with Josh.ai voice control. We also install Savant systems, Somfy shades, Axis, Turing and Ubiquiti cameras and RUCKUS Wi-Fi, and tie them together.
Can a smart home system go into an existing home?
Often, yes. Wireless keypads, dimmers and battery-powered shade motors make it possible in many finished homes. We walk the home first and tell you what will work before you commit.
When should a smart home be planned on a new build?
While the plans are being finalized and before drywall. The wiring has to be in the walls before they close, and early planning gives you and your designer more options.
Does ITS work with my builder and interior designer?
Yes. We review the plans, place every device on the drawings, coordinate keypad and speaker locations with the design, and work from the builder schedule.
Who services the system after move-in?
ITS does. You get training at hand-off, written documentation and warranty records, and service is one call to 786.266.7676.
